No Haul, No Burn
1. How many acres can be cleared per day?
Land Clearing Services is capable of clearing 1-3 acres per day.
2. What happens to the mulched material?
The mulched material is left on the ground and will act as a natural erosion barrier. All material is chipped into mulch, with stumps cut at ground level, enabling any rubber tired machinery to be driven across cleared site immediately.
3. Will grass grow through the mulch?
Yes, grass will naturally begin to grow through the mulch. Upkeep of growth can be maintained with mowing.
4. Can we pick trees to be left?
Yes, selective clearing can be done.
5. How do you charge, by the hour or by the acre?
Charges are job specific based on project specifications. A project specific quote is provided free of charge.
6. Will cut trees grow back?
As the mulch decomposes over time, this improves the quality of the underlying soil. Upkeep can be as simple as once-per-year mowing.
7. Bulldozer versus mulching?
Bulldozing disturbs the ground. Bulldozers work by forcing trees and brush completely up out of the ground. Along with this, comes rocks and dirt. For disposal, the piled debris must be raked up and sorted. The pile must be left to dry and then burned, with remaining debris requiring haul-off.
Mulching clears the land of unwanted trees and brush without the destruction to the property and/or surrounding trees. All material is chipped into mulch, with stumps being cut as close to ground level as possible. The mulched material can be left on the ground and will act as an erosion barrier
